At Sensory Stars, we offer age-appropriate sensory experiences designed to support your child’s development from infancy through toddlerhood.
Infant Sensory Classes (Birth–12 months)
A gentle and nurturing introduction to sensory play where babies and caregivers explore textures, sounds, movement, colours, and simple sensory experiences together. Classes focus on bonding, early development, tummy time, baby songs, gentle movement, and supporting your baby’s natural curiosity.
Toddler Sensory & Story Classes (12 months–4 years)
A playful, hands-on experience combining themed sensory play with interactive circle time. Children explore sensory invitations, create, move, sing, listen to stories, enjoy parachute play, and finish with bubbles — all while developing skills through child-led play.
Both classes provide a welcoming environment where children can explore at their own pace, build confidence, and learn through meaningful play experiences.
Sensory & Story (12 mos and up)
What to Expect
Each week at Sensory Stars features a brand-new theme brought to life through sensory play, songs, stories, and movement. Children are invited to explore, discover, and learn through hands-on experiences in a fun and welcoming environment.
Our 60-minute class includes:
45 Minutes of Sensory Play
The first part of each class is dedicated to hands-on sensory exploration. Children are invited to discover a variety of themed sensory invitations featuring materials such as water, playdough, coloured rice, dry sensory bins, oobleck, jello, natural and seasonal items, and creative art experiences. Each activity encourages curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and the development of fine motor skills through open-ended play.
15 Minutes of Circle Time
After sensory play, we gather together for an engaging, theme-based circle time. Each week includes a story, songs and fingerplays, movement activities, parachute play, and bubbles to finish the class with smiles and laughter. Circle time helps nurture language development, social skills, confidence, and a love of books and music.
Throughout the class, children are encouraged to explore at their own pace in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Our play experiences are designed to support independence, imagination, and meaningful learning while allowing every child to participate in the way that feels right for them.

Baby Sensory Classes ( up to 12 mos)
What to Expect
Each week at Sensory Stars features a new theme designed especially for babies, bringing together gentle sensory experiences, songs, movement, and opportunities for connection. Our classes provide a calm, welcoming space where babies can explore at their own pace while caregivers enjoy meaningful one-on-one time with their little one.
Our 60-minute class includes:
Infant Sensory Play
Throughout the class, babies are invited to explore a variety of gentle, age-appropriate sensory experiences tailored to their stage of development. Activities may include soft textures, sensory scarves, discovery baskets, sensory bottles, lights, water play, tummy time, natural and seasonal materials, and other baby-safe, taste-safe sensory invitations. We also incorporate songs, nursery rhymes, and gentle movement throughout the session to encourage interaction, support early communication, and make the experience engaging and enjoyable for both babies and caregivers.
Parents and caregivers actively participate alongside their baby, creating meaningful moments of bonding while learning simple sensory play ideas to continue at home.
Throughout the session, babies are free to explore, observe, or simply take in their surroundings at their own pace. There is no expectation to participate in every activity—we celebrate each baby’s unique development and encourage a relaxed, responsive approach to play.
